As in TED, the spirit of ”ideas worth spreading” is the main focus of TEDx .

On these lands we live in, we are all poor in dialogue but rich in monolog, reaching out and sharing information for creating ideas is not commonn and easy as it seems in theory. In spite of this reality, experiencing TED’s spirit of ideas worth spreading and the platform it creates for sharing ideas, encouraged us to do someting in our country in an effort to start a change in the way we see, observe, think and do tihings.

What we from our TED experiences is a simple reality of: Life is a learned skill just as riding a bicycle or playing guitar. Success will only follow, If we become aware of this. In order to give meaning to our lives, it is needed to ask the most critical questions as the first step, and search for answers, as the second. This is exactly what is behind our event as well as TEDs. What we have in mind organising TEDxReset is an effort to try to catch some clues to shape up to keep up with tomorrow.

With this goal at hand, we wanted to create a platform, where all thinkers and dreamers spread their ideas on how to reset our minds to shape the future, to redisgn ourselves and inspire ourselves before inspiring others. What needs to be forgotton, what needs to be thought again, what needs to be created and how to act upon are the main questions we’ll be searching for clues in resetting our minds. And yes, if necessary, we will talk about re-inventing the already invented.

As attendees of TED and TEDx events have called it "the ultimate brain spa" and "a four-day journey into the future, we will be sharing ideas to feed our brains with the guidance of the braod line of speakers on diverse fields of arts, science, education, architecture, music, fasion, design, tecnology, literature, entertainment, economics, all the ways to new methods of thinking processes.

We believe that science and arts are the two wings that flies the bird. And science is the way for the real art and that is the way to the real nature.

Our vision is not as exaggerated as RAND Corporation’s. Their vision was to give consultancy services to God in four years.

We are certainly aware that that millions of years have passed before the life began and more time is needed to understand what to do with it. Let’s do not underestimate our potential to change our selves and let’s do not exaggerate our power to change others. Let’s join forces to ask the crucial questions and share the resetting answers in understanding.

In doing so, the four main phases of mind resetting processes being; : Forget, Think, Create, Act Upon, will be our areas of focus step by step.

TEDxReset will be a platform; where great minds capable of knowing how and what to forget, able to think and rethink, good at creating and dynamic enough to act upon, gather together for one single cause: to spread ideas worth spreading.. In short, at TEDxReset, we wil try to reset our minds to look and see things that we are not used to and try to find reset answers to critical questions among the endless possibilities offered in the universe.
